It's Time for the big reveal!  My partner Ann Rishell sent me this wonderful stash of beads.  So many that I really had a hard time deciding what to use.  I chose to make just one design for this
reveal, but when I return home from snowy, Layton, Utah, where I am staying with my awesome grandson, Nick, I will post more designs.

If you follow this link to my Flickr page you will see the beads that Ann Rishell sent me.

And here is my Bead Soup...Ta Da!

The brown and black beads are polymer clay and so is the focal. I'm not sure what the beige beads are made of, maybe Ann can tell us.  The clasp is brass in a beautiful flower shape.  The necklace is approximately 20" long and the focal is about 1 1/2".  The only beads I added were some onyx chips and gold seed beads.

Don't Forget to leave me a comment to be entered in my drawing for a piece of my jewelry.  Drawing will be on March 4th, so you can comment until then.

Scroll down to view the artists that are participating in this bead exchange and have fun viewing some beautiful designs.

Thanks so much to Lori for hosting this fun  event!

What a lovely design, love the serene look on the focal. The diamond shaped beads look like white Magnesite. I love the earthy, almost tribal look.

Hi Loretta,

It's day two and I'm having a blast! I started at the bottom of the list and have 143 to go, phew!

Your necklace is just gorgeous -- simple and elegant with an Asian flair.

Isn't the swap hop fun?!

This looks like such a serene and artsy piece. There's something almost spiritual about it; there's also something very ethnic or exotic about it. I would want to wear something like this while beading; seems like it would be contemplative enough to urge new and brilliant ideas. :) Lovely work!
